Today I planted some Forget Me Nots.
This is the first time I’ve planted these. They were a present from my mother a year ago. I was saving them for a suitable spot.

We used to live in Richmond, and mum and I often go back there. It’s a truly beautiful spot, especially along by the river. You can walk to London. Not now though, due to Covid-19. I’m missing this spot a great deal right now, and planting these flowers has helped me to feel better about not being able to drive over, visit mum and my sisters (who I miss more than the scenery), and maybe even go for a walk or a bike ride.
Here are some photos and a video of me planting and weeding today to inspire you. It’s a good time to remove dead wood and get some weeding done ready for the spring bluebells.

Lavender cuttings.
- Dip the cuttings in water and rooting powder
- Plant in the spring and put the pot outside.
- Water daily.
- Plant out when roots show in around 3 weeks where there is room to grow or move once you have a few Inches grow; this takes around 8 months.
- In around 2 to 3 years you’ll have a healthy plant.
For new plants cost free.
