It’s time to bring the Lavender in

Cut your lavender just above the new shoots. I’ve cut these just below as I’m using them as cuttings for new plants

Afterwards; see previous lavender posts “underneath the birch” for more photography of this plant

You can easily see the new shoots as they are paler in colour than the rest of the plant.

Tip:

Cutting back to the new shoots will keep your lavender plants looking fresh and encourage even growth with a less woody, and leggy plant.
