Lavender border from cuttings, grown at home.

Today the weather is sunny but cold, so I’m going to plant the lavender out in partial shade to create a lovely border.

First dig out a 2 inch deep recess.

Keep the top soil.

Collect topsoil from underneath a bush where there is lots of deciduous mulch.

Lovely top soil
After 7-8 weeks of regular watering, the cuttings we took in March have, hopefully, rooted.
Plant the plugs you grew in early spring
Remove any weeds and cover the small plants
Water in for one month in dry weather, and continue to water in dry weather until new shoots appear
