It has been drier than usual here in south Glos’ the past 9 days; my dear mother tells me it was snowing in Ham Richmond the other day, so I’m cautious about imagining that the weather is ubiquitous.
Another thing I did was announce the queues and likelihood of a loo roll shortage here, and my sister in Hampton, near Hampton Court, told me they had their chemist queues 6 weeks ago.
This all goes to show that community is sometimes more important than we realise, especially when you are dealing with an invisible enemy such as Covid.
Enough doom and gloom, here is my water video minus the screaming, laughing children. They’re all grown up and have left the nest, but like a typical mother I worry about them.

Still, gardening takes my mind off things. As I’ve said before, gardening is like mediating. Pick up a rake, instead of a cigarette, or whatever is your poison. The only poison left to me is ice- cream.
