Blackbird sounds happy

Blackbird sounds happy,

Sang at my window

Till I opened it

I thought I’d take another photograph of my front garden. I’m really missing my daily walks into town.

Every day I would pass the flower bed and steal a long look at the plants. Leaving that scene of reliable and perpetual growth feeling refreshed and renewed.

For the past two days a friendly blackbird has sat in the tree outside my window. It’s a birch tree. It sits and and sings its heart out for half an hour. I recorded it for 3 minutes this morning, and I’ll attempt to upload it here for you, along with the photograph of my garden, which I’ve grown from cuttings, seeds and a few plants I moved from my old house in Dorset.
