Lavender’s red

Not all lavender is blue. It comes in many varieties and even can be found in red. There is a variety of French lavender called Kew Red.

I love lavender because it is so easy to care for. If you cut the lavender back when it is in full flower, it will reward you by growing back lovely tender shoots.

Lavender can be prone to getting quite woody if you do not cut it back regularly, which is why a regular prune with a simple pair of scissors works wonders for maintaining its fresh look.
